LASU: 2020/2021 INDIGENESHIP VERIFICATION EXERCISE FOR CANDIDATES WHO ARE INDIGENES OF LAGOS STATE

All Candidates of Lagos State Origin who chose Lagos State University as First Choice in the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination [UTME] and scored a minimum of 190 are hereby informed that the registration for Indigeneship Verification Exercise for the 2020/2021 Admission Exercise
Date: Wednesday, 11th November, 2020 to close on Wednesday, 2nd December, 2020.

The Verification Interview Time: 8.00am – 4.00pm Daily from Wednesday, 18th November, 2020

Venues for the Exercise are as follows:

Faculty of Arts [Ikeja Division ]
3-in-1, Faculty of Education [Badagry Division]
Faculty of Law [Ikorodu Division]
MBA Hall [Lagos Division]
School of Transport [Epe Division]

METHOD OF APPLICATION: Candidates are to pay a non-refundable fee of the sum of Five Thousand [N5,000.00] Naira only into the Lagos State University Account online through this link: www.lasu.edu.ng/iive

REVALIDATION OF 2017/2018, 2018/2019 AND 2019/2020 INDIGENESHIP CLEARANCE CARD

The University Management hereby states that the candidates [Indigenes of Lagos State] who were screened and cleared by the Independent Indigeneship Verification Committee [IIVC] in 2017/2018 and 2018/2019 Academic Session and who have also chosen the Lagos State University for the 2020/2021 Academic Exercise need not pay the Five Thousand [5,000.00] Naira screening fee nor register for the on-going indigeneship Verification Exercise..

Candidates are only required to present their clearance cards [obtained at the last exercise] before the Committee for Revalidation only.The revalidation shall be at any of the sittings of the IIVC for the 2020/2021 Admission Screening Exercise.All concerned Candidates are also to note that the Verification and the Revalidation exercises are to hold concurrently but in phases.

All Lagos State Indigenes who have chosen LASU as their first choice for the 2020/2021 Admission, the University Community as well as the General Public should take note.

Please NOTE that ONLY Candidates who are of Lagos State Origin are eligible for screening. Candidates in this category are expected to be CLEARED by the Independent Indigeneship Verification Committee [IIVC] BEFORE being screened and cleared by the officers assigned for the Central Screening Exercise
