The Federal University Oye Ekiti, FUOYE has chosen Tuesday July 28, 2020 for it’s 9th Matriculation Ceremony to accept formally into the system, admitted students for 2019/2020 academic session.
The Ceremony, designed to be virtual, is in response to the ravaging COVID 19 pandemic that has shut down general activities in most countries of the world
According to a release from the Ag Registrar, Mr Mufau Ibrahim, a copy of which has been made available to FuoyeNews, the virtual ceremony will be conducted using zoom application for online meetings and it will commence by 11:00am.
Parents and students will join the ceremony from remote places while a few students have been scheduled to be physically on ground to participate in the ceremony.
ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS ON FUOYE’S VIRTUAL MATRICULATION.
In addition to earlier memo giving instructions to students about the coming virtual matriculation,
please note the following:
1. The virtual matriculation is holding as earlier stated date and time, that is Tuesday July 28,2020 at 11:00 am.
2. Collection of academic gowns for those who can access them are available but not compulsory for those
who cannot come to school for them.
3. Those that collect academic gowns must return them on due dates or be sanctioned.
4. All matriculating students are advised to hook up to the matriculation ceremony
through the zoom application platform.
