JAMB 2021: WHAT NEXT AFTER THE EXAMINATION

JAMB 2021: WHAT NEXT AFTER THE EXAMINATION

Evidently, UTME examination has been written and results have been released. It was alleged that this year records massive failure than previous years.

We also have students under the late registration category who have not been contacted yet to take the examination. We believe they will be contacted soon.Rumor has it that the cut off marks will be reduced, we do not know how concrete this is yet until the jamb policy holds.

WHAT NEXT?

It is a custom that after the examination have been written, the board assigns a date for jamb policy meeting.

WHAT THEN IS JAMB POLICY

Jamb policy is set aside for deliberation on the review of the previous admission, review of jamb result of the current year and cut off mark for that year is being deliberated upon. Aside that, modalities for the year’s admission will be deliberated upon.

ADVICE TO ALL STUDENTS THAT TOOK THE EXAM

We are aware of the massive failure and students have gone ahead to do change of course and institution when the cut off mark has not been released. We are stating categorically that cut off mark is not static, it changes yearly.

Hence the rush to change institution or course might be a waste as if the cut off mark pegged during the course of the policy meeting does not suit what you earlier believed, you will resort to changing. We therefore advice JAMB candidates to exercise patience and look forward to jamb policy.

The jamb policy meeting will kick start the admission processing of the year. Till then no federal or state university have commenced the release of post UTME form.
