UNILAG POST UTME/SCREENING EXERCISE: HOW TO CALCULATE YOUR AGGREGATE SCORE
The University of Lagos has announced that it will not be conducting an entrance exam for its candidates. What does it imply??
Unilag will be making use of both the JAMB score and the Olevel score in determining the aggregate score. In this sense, JAMB score will weigh 50 marks and Olevel will weigh 50marks.
HOW TO CALCULATE YOUR JAMB AGGREGATE SCORE
Basically, the University divide candidates JAMB score by 8. What ever the score would be, it will be over 50.
For example, a candidate with 320 in jamb, once he divides the JAMB score by 8 he’s having 40/50.
HOW TO CALCULATE YOUR OLEVEL SCORE
UNILAG accepts just one sitting in it olevel. Candidates must score a minimum of C6 in the necessary five subjects including Maths and English.
The question arise, how do I know my grades?
Unilag will go as far back as 2016 method of calculating or grading the olevel subjects.
The following are the grading system of olevel
• A1 = 10marks
• B2 = 9marks
• B3 = 8marks
• C4 = 7marks
• C5 = 6marks
• C6 = 5marks
For emphasis sake, Ade had 320 in JAMB and had B2 in all his necessary five subjects for mechanical engineering. The necessary subjects include Maths, English, physics, chemistry and further mathematics.
By standard B2 equals 9marks. Calculate 9marks by the necessary 5 subjects 9*5=45
Jamb score 320/8=40
Hence, Ade has secured 85/100 for his post utme.
Having scored 85, he is to wait for the release of the cut off marks.

HOW TO KNOW YOUR CHANCES FOR 2022 ADMISSION
The 2022 cut off mark is yet to be released. We advice you make use of the 2021 cut off mark and the 2016 cut off mark. I know you might be considering why the 2016 cut off mark.
