UNILAG SET TO REFUND UTILITY FEES, SCHOOL FEES, OTHER FEE EXCESSES

University of Lagos, UNILAG on Tuesday has activated students’ portal, showing the balance of the Reduced hiked fees for those who already made payment, following the earlier pegged fees.

This is part of the refunding process to enable Students who paid to get a refund. However it is hasn’t appeared yet on any means like the E wallet platform, or cash refund. YOMSDIRECT reports.

YOMSDIRECT confirmed this in the receipt showed via a student’s portal. Indicating the balances of the obligatory fees, school fees.

The portal for refund is being activated on the student portal.

This innovation can be seen on the students portal reciept which shows UNDERGRADUATE – OVERPAYMENT (5,000 & 20,000 respectively)

YOMSDIRECT observed that the highest departmental cut off marks based on its hierarchy for merit level this year were Medicine and Surgery, (MBBS), pegged 84.675, Computer science of the faculty of science, pegged 81.95, Mechanical engineering pegged as 81.925 and Computer engineering 81.2 which all ranked above 80 grade mark for the admission of candidates who are not within the catchment level.
Meanwhile, candidates who were so close to this earmarked courses have been left thoughtful, finding it difficult to know what rightful decision will grant them admission this year. Especially students, who find themselves not in the catchment level and have aggregate score that reached the eight tens (eighty), so close to the merit score but not up to the mark. Details here
