FEDERAL SCHOLARSHIP BOARD.

Fifty Three students of the University of Lagos got the Federal scholarship from the Federal ministry of education.
The link came out in the year 2020 and thousands of students applied, hoping to be shortlisted. But Covid and Asuu strike came and nothing happened all through out 2021.
Until the ending of January 2022, when students got SMS of invitation to the exam venue which was to hold On the 5th of February. Some Students lost their details which prevented them from checking their exam details and some students never got to know about the exam schedules.
There was no centre all over Lagos States which made students of University of Lagos and Lagos state university to travel all the way to their centre (Ibadan and co). It was reported that only few students came for the exam. _”My row had just two applicant, myself and one other lady (Masters)”_ Last week, calls and sms started rolling in to inform successful candidates that they have been shortlisted and should head to school to collect their award letter.
It seems that FSB assigned different staff to each school and these staff chose their method of communicating to the students. Faculty of education only got two students on the FSB list. There are more of MBBS and engineering students.
FSB means Federal scholarship Board.
It is been awarded to students in public higher institutions(Universities, Polytechnics, and Colleges of education)
